Raggy Paints

Yet another new idea for the blog. As you may have worked out if you read this on a regular basis I am big into lists and so I present my flavour of the month: Boardgame I most want to try: Formula D Boardgame I most want to play: Pandemic Boardgame I most want to…

The fourth fleet to feature in the blog. The Orc Raiders were a lot of fun to paint, however the metal edging was delicate and easy to snap (and generally a bit of a pain to paint) Getting the sails grotty meant a lot of layers of paint and as you can see the effect…

Another Uncharted Seas fleet. In retrospect I think this color scheme is a little unsubtle, but I still like the wood finish. I was also really pleased with the finish on the glass roof of the Dragon Carrier.

In response to this Dear Sir/MadamI have been watching with increasing concern the recent bouts of legal letters to fansites. I have been a Games Workshop player for over 15years and have supported the company through increasing prices, power creep and many other criticisms leveled at the company. I feel that the strongest feature of…

A friend of mine just sent me this so for all you film buffs out there: I need to viral the competition we\’re running right now at the link attached here – chance to win at trip for two to London October 5th to see the premiere of vampire horror flick Thirst, and meet the…

Well it has been a while. I am still at my \’rents and looking forward to getting home at the weekend. I had hoped during my stay to paint up 90 troops… a tall order (89 technically as one of my militiamen has already been painted). I had done most of the first 10 (the…
